There are singers, and then there are storytellers. Jamie Davis belongs to that rare and distinguished tradition of jazz artists whose voices do more than interpret a song, they inhabit it.
In this remarkable collection, Jamie is stepping out on a journey through some of music’s most enduring and beloved songs and invites listeners to accompany him. From unforgettable ballads that speak directly to the heart, to soulful blues steeped in feeling and truth, to infectious swinging bossa nova’s that celebrate rhythm and joy, each selection showcases the depth and versatility of his amazing artistry.
Super excited to announce “Fragile “ from my new release “Steppin Out” is in consideration for the first round of the 2027 Grammy’s Awards for best jazz performance. You can listen to it at, https://jamiedavis2.hearnow.com/
